Nintendo's NES Classic will return to U.S. retail stores on June 29 It's good news for Nintendo fans who missed out the first time around, even if it's not a complete surprise. Nintendo said last September that it would bring both the NES Classic and the SNES Classic back this year after the products turned out to be big hits. The company also says the SNES Classic will remain on sale until the end of 2018.

Researchers warn of critical flaw affecting PGP and S/MIME Anyone who uses PGP and S/MIME to send secure emails are being advised to disable the tools immediately following a major security scare. 3. Facebook suspends ~200 suspicious apps out of "thousands" reviewed so far The social network said it reviewed "thousands" of apps on its platform following the recent data misuse scandal and suspended around 200 — pending a "thorough investigation" into whether or not their developers misused Facebook user data. 4. Favstar says it will shut down June 19 as a result of Twitter's API changes for data streams Favstar was an early leader in developing a way to track and review how tweets were getting liked and retweeted. Creator Tim Haines blamed changes that Twitter is making to its API: "Favstar can't continue to operate in this environment of uncertainty." 5. President Trump says he's working to give ZTE a reprieve He cited a loss of jobs in China as the motivating factor — which is confusing, given Trump's usually combative stance towards China when it comes to trade policy. 6.
